Dr. Michelle McCain is a 14th-year educator. She has taught special education, English as a Second Language, and general education reading and English from grades 6-12. Doc Chelle has served as a mentor teacher, a master teacher, an instructional coach, and a Dean of Instruction. Additionally, Doc Chelle has led and served on several committees such as Positive Behavior in Schools, Site-Based Decision Committee, and the Campus Improvement Committee. Currently, she is a full-time college professor.

Upon graduation from high school, Doc Chelle had a passion for law and majored in criminal justice at Texas Southern University. Doc Chelle continued her education by earning her teaching credentials and Master of Education degree from Houston Baptist University. She obtained her Principal's Certification from Lamar University. Doc Chelle completed her educational journey by earning her doctoral degree in educational leadership and management from Capella University.

In 2018 Doc Chelle established Doc Chelle Consulting to personalize the educational and professional lives of others. In this same year, she Co-Authored A Christian Guide to Beginning a College Ministry aimed to help churches develop, retain, and maintain their college-aged membership as they progress into adulthood.

Doc Chelle's most prized possession is her earring collection. In her spare time, you can find her mystery shopping, traveling, dancing offbeat, and exercising in her head.
