Chelsea M Ervin

Licensed Massage Therapist, MBA

Hello!! My name is Chelsea Ervin. I am a native Houstonian. Born and raised in the 3rd Ward area of town. I was a product of all HISD schools (Will Rogers Elem, Pershing MS, and Lamar HS). I have always been interested in the Sciences. I hold Bachelor's of Science in Psychology (UHD, 2007) and a Master's in Business Administration (UofPhx, 2019). I am a single mother of 2 boys (Rion,15 & Johrdyn, 12). I love good music, good food, good conversation, and any moment I can steal away to relax for a bit.

My career began as a Phlebotomist and Lab Technician. Then I became a [former] High School Teacher of 13 years in the Medical Academies across 4 districts during my tenure. Educating about healthcare and wellness has pretty much been my life's work and passion.

I get asked a lot "what made you switch to Massage Therapy? Because that's a big change..." Well, due to my own personal health crisis that I suffered back in 2016. I am a survivor of 2 mild TIAs (strokes). It took Physical Therapy, Aquatic Therapy, and MASSAGE THERAPY to rehabilitate me back. I felt like this was my chance to pursue what I once thought about as a career when I graduated high school a year early back in 2001.
